Level Field Lawyers is a Brisbane-based specialist construction law firm founded in 2017, practising exclusively in construction and infrastructure law. We act for builders, developers, subcontractors and consultants across Queensland. We established the firm with a simple goal: to provide technically strong, commercially grounded construction law advice — without the inefficiency or opacity that often comes with larger practices.
Construction law is not one of many practice areas for us. It is all we do.
Our story
Level Field Lawyers was founded to meet a clear gap in the market.
Too often, construction clients were receiving advice that was technically correct but commercially disconnected — or being serviced by large firms where matters were over-lawyered, slow to progress, and expensive to run.
We built Level Field Lawyers as a focused specialist practice designed to operate differently: providing direct access to experienced lawyers, clear and practical advice, commercially realistic strategies, and efficient delivery.
Today, we act across the full lifecycle of construction projects — from contract drafting and negotiation through to claims, adjudication and litigation — while remaining deliberately boutique in size and approach.
